Board of Zoning Appeals

>Board of Zoning Appeals Agendas & Meeting Minutes

Board of Zoning & Appeals members are appointed.  The board meets the 1st Monday of the month, 5:30 p.m. at City Hall as needed.  This board has the authority to make decisions on any planning appeal brought before them with regard to zoning or planning ordinances. 

 

 

 

Regional Planning & Zoning Commission

Planning & Zoning members are appointed.  This board meets the 1st Monday of the month, 5:30 at City Hall.  This board is responsible for rezoning subdivisions, site plan approvals, signage and more.

 

 

Beer Board

Beer Board members are council members.  Meetings are scheduled as needed.  This board is responsible for all approvals, licenses, applications and violations related to serving or selling alcohol.

 

 

Budget Committee

Budget Committee members are council members with an elected chairman.  The budget committee meet as needed to review the proposed budget and approve any amendments.

 

Event Committee

The Event Committee plan several events throughout the year such as the Ashland City Christmas Parade and Music on Main. Music on Main is the biggest event of the year, held every October. Event Committee members consist of Town of Ashland City employees and City residents. The event committee meets first Thursday of each month.

Safety and Risk Management Committee

The Safety and Risk Management Committee meets once a quarter to discuss safety concerns that effect employees and City residents.  Safety and Risk Management Committee members consist of Town of Ashland City employees.
